For those of you who haven’t already heard the news, AFRU Gallery will be leaving our beloved Oak St. building at the end of this year. But you still have several opportunities to come say goodbye and help us celebrate 20 amazing years as an artist-run space!
- Our Broken Toys, Broken Dreams show on Friday, December 8 includes a make-your-own toy workshop, a massive gallery rummage sale, and a swan song or two. This is a free, family-friendly event and everyone is welcome! Find out more here:
- Come take our free, community class about medicinal herbs with Aloe Johnson on Sunday, December 10 at 3pm. More information here:
- And last, but hardly least, join us for Svetlana Trantastic’s one-night-only holiday extravaganza, Trigger Alert! on Friday, December 22. The show will be followed by AFRU’s End of the World, er… I mean… Holiday Party Potluck. This will be our last event in the space. Don’t miss it!
A HUGE THANK YOU to all of you for everything you’ve done to support AFRU through the years. We’re not going to stop supporting artists, we’re just leaving our current location. Stay tuned to see what we’re up to in the future. Hope to see you soon!
