If you regularly read these blogs, you know that I have told you previously to get ready for some big, wild changes, post eclipse: including claims that Donald Trump will not make it to the election, or even attend the majority of his trials, due to his deteriorating brain making him incapable of functioning. Something in the frontal lobe of his brain is affecting him, but those around him will do their best to hide it for awhile. He is toast already. He is unimportant. He is gone. I could list all the things that are actually happening in this life that support this forecast, but I am tired of talking about him. I think we all are. There will be more talking about him because the media is obsessed with the story, and when I next bring him up it will be to say, “I told you so.”
I feel very at peace lately. I went on leave from one of my day jobs prior to the lunar eclipse. Artistic endeavors have been aplenty. I told a part-time employer of two years at a local teaching hospital that I was on leave until September effective immediately. I told them I’d call them in the fall if I decided to. I told them I wouldn’t be checking email while I was on leave because that is unpaid labor. I gave them no notice and took myself off multiple projects with no apology or time to replace me. I cackled wildly for an hour after sending the communication. I called the next day to see if I was fired. I was told they look forward to hearing from me in September. Bahahahahaha! This is how the lunar eclipse we experienced in Libra brought balance to my life. I still have two jobs, but there’s time now to write, to sharpen my acting skills, to pursue more creative endeavors. I was recently given a lead on someone who wants to hire a clown for the funeral of a cat. Now this is the life I want to be living! My life feels more balanced than usual. I feel blessed. There is no more e-mail in my life that is “urgent” to a giant teaching hospital that wants to exploit my labor to save their dimes. Ahhh…………. No more email on my days off. No more email in my life at all. I hope that the major lunar eclipse in March has had a similar balancing affect for your life in a way that is unique and wonderful to you.
Many planets are passing through Aries now, and Aries is aggressive masculine energy. If Aries features largely in your birth chart you may be quick to argue or loose your temper around the eclipse. Assertive people want to make quick decisions. Nations are at war. There’s likely to be more war. I feel very calm about it. I hope you can do the same. The best thing you can do is recognize that this energy might be having an effect on you and calm your tits. Sit on it before you take action. Slow down and think before you slap your coworker or supervisor. Choose your battles. There will be many to pick from at this time.
The next major astrological event in the sky following the Full Solar Eclipse April 8th is the dynamic planetary alignment of Jupiter being conjunct to Uranus on April 20th, 2024. This simply means that from Earth the two planets will appear close together in the sky, even on top of one another as their orbits cross one-another. The conjunction of Jupiter and Uranus happens approximately every fourteen years. The only conjunction more rare than this in our solar system is the conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn which occurs every twenty years. To me, at the heart of astrology, is the simple act of looking up into the sky and searching for meaning. Why are we here? What is our purpose? If these planetary objects aligned previously and major events took place: will major events take place again?
Superstition or reality? The most famous event in history that I can find that started around a Jupiter-Uranus conjunction is the French Revolution. Jupiter is the king linked to Zeus or his Scandinavian equivalent Odin. Uranus represents the principle of change and the unexpected. Uranus brings unexpected surprises, individuality, and eccentricity. If we take a look at what is going on in the skies, we have been affected as a collective society in the following ways by outer planets that influence all of us: Pluto, the planet of death and transformation finally signals the end of the age of Pisces - enters Capricorn one last time and remains in Aquarius for the next 250 years. The Age of Pisces is officially over. The Age of Aquarius has officially begun. Oddly, Pluto will dip into Capricorn around election time and return to Aquarius on Joe Biden’s Birthday: November 21st, and remain in Aquarius the rest of our lives. Astrology says Joe Biden wins the election.
We have all just experienced a Lunar Eclipse in Libra and we are heading for a Full Solar Eclipse in Aries. The Lunar Eclipse has left a world of people seeking more balance. The age of Aquarius has left all the information we need in the airwaves around us. In Aquarius, we have the internet, we have social media. Information can not be hidden anymore as it so readily available around us. The people no longer trust their leaders. There is too much information for things to remain hidden. The lunar eclipse left us all seeking more balance and peace in our lives; each of us having a different definition of what that means. The full solar eclipse continues to bring light to hidden crimes and misinformation that those in power have been selling us. The Uranus-Jupiter conjunction indicates a sudden change in leadership happening: a revolution or an apocalypse: you decide.
Is this all silly superstition? What will be will be. We all have free will. The stars may influence us, but you could resist smacking your coworker or you could bring a 2x4 to work to make sure doing it has more impact. I have been learning a lot of new things about Astrology in the time I have been writing this blog for AFRU. Astrology is as complicated as religion in that there are different types of astrology with different methods of tracking things and disagreements about how it should be done correctly just as there are different religions with different conclusions on how the Bible should be interpreted. There are tricksters in Astrology selling you horoscopes and quick answers just like there are evangelicals trying to control you with shame and fear and ministers pocketing your donations and justifying their own lives of sin. Sometimes, I’m just reporting my latest understanding of this art, an ancient method of predicting what’s to come. Hey, it’s just the sky, right? And we are made of stardust?
In the words of Billy Joel: You may be right. I may be crazy. Oh, but it just may be a lunatic you’re looking for.
Take good care of yourself and the people you love. Auntie Svetty loves you.
